Beach & Location Portraits
For best results portrait sessions need to be very early in the morning or very late in the afternoon. Several reasons are because the light is more flattering low in the sky as opposed to overhead. Also squinting will not be as big a problem when the light is not as bright as it would be in late morning or middle of the day. Morning shoots tend to be less problematic than afternoon shoots. In the afternoon the beaches are more crowded and thunderstorms are very common through the summer. I recommend making your appointment early in your visit to give you possible optional backup days if the weather is bad. If the weather is not good I will make every effort to work you in later in the week. If all else fails I can bring studio lighting equipment to your cottage or any other location you choose.
